Perfect Love Cast Out Fear

You are treasured by the Lord. Truly you are! But like me, you may have struggled with this truth.

As women we have so many things assaulting our identity. Culture tells us to look one way, to have a particular mindset and to do all things to perfection. Some of us struggle with difficulties in marriage, and maybe even feel trapped by an abusive partner. Still some of us struggle with illness; sickness in our bodies or of the health of a dear loved one. Finances threaten to undo us . Maybe a career didn’t bring us the satisfaction we anticipated or the betrayal of a friend leaves of lost and lonely. 

These assaults come in so many different forms and when we don’t measure up we begin to question who we are. Unmet expectation, we put on ourselves or are placed on us by others can lead us to begin to question who we are and fear can set in as the ground beneath us becomes unstable.

I am all too familiar with these fear, fears that raised their head to cause the ground beneath me to shake. Assaults on my heart against the truth of my value to God led to my greatest hour of darkness. Hopelessness spoke its ugly lies and soon I found myself believing that my circumstances, my whole person, as a women mattered very little to God.

Join me as I share with you the truth of who God is and how He met me in my darkest hour. I pray that your faith in Him is strengthened, refreshed or found new as you learn how He moved me from fear to faith, for His perfection of love cast out all fear.
